MURDERED: Asian Doe

Up and Vanished Weekly

It's December, 2010, when police discover the body of a young murdered woman in marshland off Ocean Parkway, Long Island. Over the following months, a total of eleven bodies are found in the area. It becomes clear to investigators that they have a serial killer on their hands. In time all of the victims are identified - except for one. With little evidence to aid in idenification, police dub the body of a young male victim found in women's clothing, "Asian Doe." Listen in as Maggie is joined by Trans Doe Task Force board member and forensic genetic genealogy expert, Viktor Veltstra, and the two discuss the factors that make identifying the only remaining unidentified victim of LISK, "Asian Doe," so difficult.
