This podcast and story is extraordinary. The amount of work and heart that went into this is definitely seen. It is a podcast that I will continue to follow. I pray for the families and Julie most of all. I pray that the people who kept her in jail. Who took her newborn baby away from her all go to prison. She should be out Free, but justice will not be done until those people are behind bars. I have nothing personally to do with any one involved, but I feel so personally bothered. I don’t know him, but Julie’s fiancé the father of the child is by no means a good man. He was definitely using Julie and a man who can move on in three months from his daughter’s murder and start another love relationship screams user and narcissist. I pray Julie gets out. Writes a book, makes millions of dollars and loves on her babies and Mama! All while the people that put her in prison are behind bars.
Might be the best podcast series I’ve ever listened to

I found this podcast hard to follow, and I’m actually not sure if that’s due to the storytelling or the fact that it’s just kind of boring. It does seem like the pod has no narrative timeline, just jumps around from one point of the investigation to the next. If you’re really into tales of corporate corruption, this might be for you. Also, you know how each podcast narrator has that one vocal quirk that grates on you after a while? This one’s is “also,” which she pronounces “alt-so.” By the 4th episode it’s like nails on a chalkboard! Lol

Murder in Oregon is an incredibly well researched, well produced podcast. Michael Francke deserved justice. I wanted to hang on every detail to get to that goal of the truth but didn’t make it past episode three. For me, there were too many “characters”. I kept losing track of who was who. My favorite part detailed the positive changes Michael Francke made in Arizona. He sounded like a very dynamic individual.
